Sticker Crafts

Applying stickers to skins — from meme crafts to five-figure Katowice loadouts.

A sticker craft is a weapon skin with stickers applied. CS2 weapons offer up to five sticker slots, and the choice and placement of stickers turns a mass-produced skin into a personal — sometimes extremely valuable — item.

Craft economics

  • Applying a sticker consumes it: the sticker cannot be recovered once applied.
  • Craft value is not additive. A skin with €500 of stickers applied usually trades below skin + sticker value — except for iconic combinations (matching old tournament holos, clean colour matches), which can trade far above.
  • Scraping a sticker (partially removing it) reduces its visual wear in stages; a full scrape removes it entirely, with no refund.

What makes crafts iconic

The most respected crafts combine era-correct tournament stickers (Katowice 2014 holos being the archetype), colour harmony with the base skin, and consistent placement. Skinventory's craft database documents notable combinations per skin, with community screenshots and pricing context.

Frequently asked questions

Do stickers increase a skin's value?

Usually only fractionally — applied stickers can't be recovered, so most crafts trade below the sum of their parts. Iconic combinations (like Katowice 2014 holo crafts) are the exception and can multiply a skin's value.

How many stickers fit on a CS2 weapon?

Weapons have up to five sticker positions in CS2.

Can I remove a sticker and keep it?

No. Scraping removes a sticker in stages, and a fully scraped sticker is destroyed — there is no way to recover an applied sticker.
