StatTrak™

A kill counter variant that tracks confirmed kills and typically costs more.

StatTrak™ is a special variant of CS2 weapon skins that includes an LED kill counter on the weapon model. The counter tracks the number of confirmed kills made with that specific weapon.

How StatTrak works

  • The kill counter is visible on the weapon's 3D model as an orange LED display
  • It only counts kills made by the skin's current owner
  • The counter resets when the skin is traded to a new player (unless a StatTrak Swap Tool is used)
  • StatTrak is available only for weapons — not knives, gloves, or agents

StatTrak and pricing

StatTrak variants are separate items from their non-StatTrak counterparts and typically trade at a premium. The multiplier varies by skin rarity and demand:

  • Common skins: StatTrak adds a modest premium (10–30%)
  • Rare skins: the premium can be higher in absolute terms but smaller as a percentage
  • Very high-tier skins: StatTrak versions are extremely rare and the premium can be massive

StatTrak in trade-ups

Trade-up contracts require all 10 inputs to be either all StatTrak or all non-StatTrak. You cannot mix them. A StatTrak trade-up always produces a StatTrak result.
